ACE is building the next generation of coaches and leaders from within our own athlete community.
Older ACE athletes can apply to become Junior Coaches and work alongside our coaching staff in younger ACE programs. Junior Coaches will gain hands-on leadership and coaching experience while helping younger athletes develop their skills and love of flag football.
Commitment Matters
Leadership means showing up.
We are looking for athletes who are prepared to become part of a program and attend consistently—not simply accumulate volunteer hours.
Junior Coaches may be matched with ACE programs based on their age, experience, availability, and the needs of each program.
All Junior Coaches will work under the supervision and direction of an ACE adult coach.
Junior Coaches may
- Help demonstrate drills and football skills
- Lead warm-ups and small-group activities
- Support coaches during practices
- Help teach flag football fundamentals
- Encourage and mentor younger ACE athletes
- Learn ACE coaching systems and terminology
- Earn eligible volunteer/community service hours
